In order to do this, Barker Boatworks utilize the “Stepped-Vee Ventilated Tunnel” (SVVT), a patented hull design utilized on both the 26 Calibogue Bay and the 26 Open. The SVVT hull has one of the lowest drag coefficients of any mono hull in the world. This low drag coefficient means increased speed, better performance, better fuel economy, and a smoother ride than conventional stepped hulls.
